A Thrift Lover’s Score: Vintage Dundee Glaze Sold on Whatnot
In a Whatnot live show recently held by thriftworxusa, a large (over 2lbs) piece of ceramics bearing the distinctive Dundee glaze style brought in a respectable bid of $45. The item, referred to as “D. Large <2lb #15", was clearly a coveted find among attendees, eventually selling to 5gardeniasvintage with a single bid.
It’s worth noting that during the show, chat attendees showed enthusiasm for the Dundee glaze pieces, with some expressing interest in buying additional items. One viewer asked the seller if they had any larger pieces (over 3lbs) in stock, implying that the item sold was just the starting point for a bigger haul. Another viewer commended the seller’s decision to host a live show, attempting to spend money before their own upcoming treasure hunting adventure.
