Gobigplants’ live auction drew in enthusiastic viewers, with several conversation threads unfolding in the chat. Collectors shared tips on scratch and smoke scarification for mimosa seeds, and commiserated about alocasia meltdowns during acclamation. Elsewhere, viewers discussed their preferred growing mediums, with some swearing by Root Riot’s products while others praised Fluval and perlite.
Back on track, collector mamahaas made a savvy move, securing the variegated Alocasia Ninja Mint for $8 through a single bid. The seller, gobigplants, offered a brief description of the plant, noting its variegated foliage and encouraging bidders to inspect its leaves. With the item sold, gobigplants bid farewell to their audience, crediting their “fat fingers” for a hasty exit.
