During gobigplants’ recent Whatnot live show, a special Poly ghost mint variegated plant caught the eye of a savvy buyer. The plant, which the seller described as having plenty of pink variability already established, was offered in a generous bag with a healthy root ball. The bidding closed quickly, with thesnackbabe emerging as the sole bidder at $32. It’s great to see the enthusiasm for unique and beautiful plants, and we’re always excited to see Whatnot users connecting over their shared passions.
We love it when Whatnot shows give us a glimpse into the broader plant collector community. In the chat during this auction, we saw several viewers sharing their own plant-related experiences and advice. One tipster was praised for recommending successful scratch and smoke scarification methods for mimosa seeds, while others discussed their preferred root growth mediums. Whether you’re a seasoned plant pro or just starting to build your collection, it’s always valuable to hear from fellow plant enthusiasts and gather useful tips and tricks.
